Temeke Municipality is one of the few oldest Councils with wealth and history that has contributed to political, economic and social change in the country. In general, Temeke has been the center of the independence of mainland Tanzania, also for the growth of sports, culture and agricultural development in the city of Dar es Salaam.
The Director of the Temeke Municipal Council is announcing to all qualified Tanzanians job opportunities to collect taxes in various areas.
Tax Collectors – 25 Positions
Qualifications required:
- Employed fourth form graduates
- Must have a Certificate/Diploma in Accounting or Business Management from any college/institution recognized by the Government.
- Duties/Responsibilities
- Collect market tax
- To do other tasks assigned by his manager
General Conditions:
- The applicant must be a citizen of Tanzania
- He should have graduated and obtained a fourth form certificate
- NB: “Results Slip” will not be accepted.
- Have a birth certificate
- He should be between 18-45 years old
- Employment is for a six (6) month contract
- The employer will pay a salary of Tshs. 380,000/= per month.
All letters must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Certified copies of the applicant’s certificates which are:
- Fourth Form Certificate
- Professional Certificate
- Birth Certificate
- National ID
- Small colored photograph (one recent colored passport size)
- Applicants with less or more qualifications than those mentioned above are not allowed to apply as their applications will not be processed
Letters that are not accompanied by the above-mentioned documents will not be processed.
