The Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) is a parastatal academic institution offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate training programmes. It is established by the Institute of Accountancy Arusha [Cap.240 R.E 2002]. It is located at Njiro Hill, seven kilometers Southern-East of Arusha City. Open Positions and Description
1. Receptionist – 1 Posts
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To greet every guest and refer them to the relevant authorities.
- To answer all incoming calls and route them to the appropriate representatives
- Must accept all incoming correspondence and forward it to the appropriate secretaries or officials.
- To keep track of different activities; and.
- To carry out any additional tasks and obligations that the supervisor may prescribe.
Minimum Qualifications:
Holder of a Form IV or VI certificate with credit passes in Swahili and English, as well as training and a certificate in customer service, front desk, or reception, or similar credentials from an accredited institution.
2. Social Welfare Officer – 2 Posts
- To assist in dealing with cases involving students on social matter.
- To disseminate Institutes’ directives to students.
- To offer first aid support when needed and appropriate
- To assist in maintaining accurate records pertaining to students’ welfare.
- To participate in identifying behavioral trends that may require action
Minimum Qualifications:
Possessing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in social work, educational psychology, psychology, guidance and counseling, or a related subject
