We are seeking a proactive individual who is enthusiastic about delivering a world-class service to customers in order to fill the position of Service Technician and join our expanding team in Bulyanhulu, North Mara, and/or Geita, Tanzania. The employee will be in charge of Sandvik and customer site operations’ equipment, parts, and component maintenance and repair.
The job responsibilities:
- To examine, fix, install, and help commission various products and equipment at the customer’s location or on one’s own property.
- Help to record and report outcomes following the aforementioned actions.
- Offer suggestions for potential enhancements to the customer’s equipment, procedures, and products.
- To perform service work, set up, operate, and maintain tools and equipment.
- To guarantee that clients have a good experience and stick with the Sandvik brand, keep up your relationships with them.
- Help the service network by offering technical guidance on appropriate maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation procedures.
- When dealing with complicated technological problems, offer end users, operators, and service staff technical support.
- In order to ensure that the equipment is used or operated properly, provide the Service Support Team with pertinent comments regarding relevant Product Performance.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Requirements for this position include trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the mining industry, and a strong understanding of Sandvik crusher, loader, haulage truck, drilling, and machine operating principles and practices. Working knowledge of Sandvik products is also required.
