About: Established by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) in accordance with its Trust Deed of the Registered Trustees of Ruaha University College, Ruaha Catholic University (RUCU) is the benevolent successor to Ruaha University College (RUCO), which benefited greatly from the kind donations of friends and well-wishers from both inside and outside of Tanzania. The provisions of the University Constitution as well as the Catholic Church’s Policy on Higher Education Institutions Ex-Corde Ecclesia govern how the University is run.
