AzamPesa is a mobile money service available on iOS and Google Play. It gives you an easy and secure way to send/withdraw money, pay bills, buy airtime, access banking services, make government payments, and pay for Azam services.
We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Associate to help our regional AzamPesa sales teams in Dodoma, Mwanza, Arusha, Mbeya, and Zanzibar. The ideal applicant will oversee day-to-day HR activities, such as talent management, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and onboarding: Work with regional hiring managers to establish effective onboarding programs for sales teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess sales performance, offering feedback and coaching to boost productivity.
- Employee Support: Handle HR-related concerns and guarantee adherence to HR rules, labor laws, and regulations.
- Learning and Development: Determine training requirements, plan workshops, and coach sales teams to ensure ongoing improvement.
- HR Administration: Keep correct employee data and provide performance, attendance, and training reports.
- Market visits: Ongoing trips to evaluate sales trends and give HR support.
Qualifications:
- A degree in human resource management, public administration, or a comparable profession.
- 2+ years of HR and administrative experience.
- Understanding of HR best practices and labour laws.
- Previous sales experience is beneficial.
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong communication skills (English and Kiswahili).
- Problem-solving, negotiating, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Self-starter with strong time management and decision-making abilities.
