Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) is the national airline of Tanzania, carrying with it the national treasure and pride of Mt. Kilimanjaro as its slogan, ‘The Wings of Kilimanjaro’. Based in Dar es Salaam, with its hub at the modern, state-of-the-art Julius Nyerere International Airport out of Terminals II and III. The airline is IOSA certified and a proud member of IATA. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement localized marketing initiatives to address unique market trends and customer demands.
- Manage regional advertising campaigns, including media purchases and collaborations with local outlets.
- Collaborate with sales teams to plan and carry out region-specific promotions.
- Report on the efficacy and results of market-specific marketing initiatives.
- Create and manage agreements with both local and international institutions, such as hotels, car rental firms, and tourism boards.
- Secure and maintain sponsorship agreements with sports teams, events, and other organizations to increase brand visibility.
- Plan and implement event marketing strategies to ensure Air Tanzania’s presence at relevant regional events.
- Manage sponsorship deals for athletic events, conferences, and public marketing.
- Ensure that your brand is consistently visible and represented at all sponsored events and collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Must hold one of the following certificates: air transport management, air ticketing, air cargo, dangerous goods, ground handling, or equivalent qualifications from a recognized aviation institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
General Condition:
Ten (10)-year contract for Tanzanians, with attractive remuneration and fringe benefits as per ATCL Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.
