CPP Tanzania, on behalf of Total Exploration and Development Uganda Limited (TEPU), CNOOC Uganda Limited (CUL), and the Government of Uganda, have discovered crude oil in the Lake Albert area and intend to develop and construct an oil pipeline to connect production from the Kingfisher area to the Buliisa-Nwoya area, where crude oil is exported to the international market.
The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is part of the Lake Albert Development Project, a 1,443-kilometer transnational long-distance pipeline that will deliver crude oil from Uganda to Tanga Port on Tanzania’s eastern coast.
Responsibilities:
- All field joint insulation operators (HDPE welding and PU operating) must be fully aware of the field joint painting and insulation system requirements. And well proficient at operating HDPE welding machines and PU foaming machines.
- To assure product quality, understand and master the performance and mixing ratios.
- independently adept in operation, repair, and maintenance.
- The operator should rigorously adhere to the repair items on the work order and finish the inspection work.
- The workplace should be cleaned on a regular basis, and tools and equipment should be organized neatly.
- During the painting process, workers must wear protective and labor-protective equipment.
- Increase self-inspection and mutual inspection to guarantee that product quality matches expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Basic mechanical and chemical background.
- Excellent English communication abilities
- Minimum of three years of painting or related job experience.
- Accepting the nature of the project’s job.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to operate both as an individual and as part of a team.
- Applicants with experience in the petroleum pipeline or construction industries are desired.
- Flexible and adaptable—work in many locations and with diverse individuals.
- On the first day of work, you should bring your laptop, mouse, and other office tools.
- Should be in good physical condition, free of infections and other disorders.
