Provide efficient, cost-effective, and proactive technical maintenance assistance to our ATMs (automatic teller machines) and POS (point of sale) to ensure service availability and terminal uptime.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Provide effective full support for all ATM and POS technical events so that ATM uptime is consistently 99% or above.
- Perform effective preventive maintenance on the allocated ATMs according to the timetable supplied by the corresponding manager.
- Provide ATM custodians with periodic training on how to operate the ATMs correctly and efficiently, such as cash replacement, operator control panel, note jam removal and recycling, consumable replacement, and so on.
- Provide support and training to merchants and POS agents, including basic troubleshooting for operations and maintenance (power on/off, login/logoff, receipt printing, network connectivity, etc.).
- Keep a current inventory of all ATMs and POS, including their location and status.
Qualifications required:
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems (IS), computer science, electrical engineering, electronic and telecommunications engineering, or a related subject.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the IT industry, with at least two years of expertise supporting and operating ATMs and POS systems.
- Certifications in CISCO/MSCA Word 10 will provide an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows PC Operating System versions 10 and 11.
- Experience supporting NCR and GRG ATMs. NCR ATM accreditation will provide an additional advantage.
- Technical understanding of ATM hardware and software maintenance and operation.
- Technical experience with POS terminal troubleshooting and maintenance.
