The job of an RD&A technologist is to drive the creation and deployment of novel food and beverage products while also guaranteeing high-quality standards and customer satisfaction within our research and development team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading initiatives from research to application and commercialization.
- Managing sensory assessments, particularly for drinks.
- Supporting beverage applications with equipment and procedures.
- Using scientific approaches to improve product characteristics beyond taste.
- Based on consumer input, we are refining current application information and processes.
- Maintaining a supply of standardised goods and raw materials.
- Shelf-life studies help to validate ingredient functioning and ensure product stability and safety.
- Recording all research outputs and testing findings in accordance with procedures.
- Practical laboratory work and data analysis.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in food science, technology, engineering, chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, or a similar applied science discipline.
- Strong interest in ingredient functioning and recipe formulation.
- Innovative thinker capable of generating and implementing new ideas.
- Demonstrates the capacity to work independently while seeking direction from senior team members.
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, food manufacturing facility, or equivalent industrial internship.
- Team player with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial attitude; capable of prospering in a dynamic atmosphere with tight deadlines.
