Download the PDF from the link above. Dodoma — Nafasi za kazi JWTZ ajira mpya JWTZ Vacancies 2025 TPDF. The Tanzania People’s Defence Force (TPDF) is calling on young Tanzanians, from high school graduates to university-educated professionals, to join its ranks through a new recruitment drive.

The announcement came on April 30, 2025, from Colonel Gaudentius Ilonda, TPDF’s Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, during a press conference at the military’s Dodoma headquarters.

The Ajira za Jeshi JWTZ TPDF is particularly eager to recruit medical professionals, including specialist doctors like surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, urologists, radiologists (for X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans), ENT specialists, anesthesiologists, internal medicine experts, ophthalmologists, oncologists, pathologists, psychiatrists, emergency medicine physicians, hematologists, veterinarians, biomedical engineers, dental lab technicians, and aviation health doctors.

They’re also seeking skilled tradespeople, such as aluminum welders, general welders, and metal fabricators.

Who Can Apply? Colonel Ilonda outlined the requirements:

• Must be a Tanzanian citizen with a National ID.
• Physically and mentally healthy, with no criminal history.
• Provide original birth certificates and academic and professional credentials.
• Must not have served in the Police, Prisons, Training Institutes, or Anti-Smuggling Units.
• Completion of National Service (JKT) training with a certificate is mandatory.

Age Limits:

• High school graduates (Form Four/Six): Up to 24 years old.
• Diploma holders: Up to 26 years old.
• University graduates: Up to 27 years old.
• Medical specialists: Up to 35 years old.

How to Apply: Interested candidates must submit handwritten applications in person at TPDF Headquarters in Dodoma between May 1 and May 14, 2025. Applications should include:

• A copy of your National ID or NIDA number.
• Birth certificate.
• Academic and professional certificates.
• JKT certificate (for voluntary service completers).
• Your mobile phone number.
