Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The role entails hitting sales targets in assigned areas and managing distributors, handling orders, payments, and redistribution. It ensures IB products remain well-stocked across customers and retail outlets, covering the full range. Monitoring product pricing at sales outlets and tracking competitors’ moves are also critical tasks.
The business development representative demands strong brand visibility through effective merchandising, like point-of-sale displays and chillers, in customer and retail spaces. Properly placing chillers in high-performing outlets, reserved solely for IBPLC products, is key. This drives brand recognition and supports sales goals in the assigned sector.
Key Attributes and Competencies:
Candidates must excel in Microsoft Office and show dynamic, sociable traits with sharp organizational skills. Strong communication, both spoken and written, is essential, alongside teamwork and leadership abilities. The role requires careful editing, fostering interdepartmental ties, and leading by example.
Ideal candidates master sales techniques, perform well under pressure, and embrace constructive feedback. They must follow supervisors’ directives, share logistics security responsibilities, and maintain tools like vehicles. Punctuality, confidence, discipline, and a drive to meet objectives are crucial.
Minimum Requirements and Additional Information:
A B.Sc. or HND in social sciences or a related field is required, plus two years of FMCG sales experience. Strong sales knowledge is a must.
