The school counselor supports students in academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and career development. In collaboration with teachers, administrators, parents, and guardians, they create a safe and supportive learning environment. The counselor implements comprehensive guidance programs aligned with school goals and student needs, ensuring that all students are equipped for success in school and beyond.

Responsibilities include providing individual and group counseling to students on academic, social, behavioral, and emotional issues; developing and implementing school-wide guidance programs and workshops; conducting assessments and interpreting data to identify student needs and progress; collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student development; and assisting with crisis intervention and referrals to external services when needed.

Requirements for this position include strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings; and knowledge of counseling models, interventions, and child development.
