The pharmacy technician is responsible for receiving prescriptions, dispensing medications, advising patients on dosages and proper use, maintaining accurate records, interacting with medical professionals, and managing the stock of medicines and medical supplies.

Responsibilities:
- Identify medicines and medical equipment needed by the facility and determine the annual budget
- Order, maintain stock, and distribute medicines and medical supplies
- Keep and maintain medicine and medical supply records
- Prepare a hospital formulary for use at the facility
- Supervise clients and co-workers on the proper use of medicines and medical equipment
- Receive medication orders, review them, and ensure no expired medicine is present
- Compound medicines for the facility when needed
- Educate clients on potential side effects of irrational medicine use
- Serve as secretary of the hospital therapeutic committee
- Dispense medicines to clients as prescribed by the physician
- Educate the community and co-workers on the proper use of medications
- Conduct monthly stocktaking and report to supervisors
- Ensure there are no unnecessary stock shortages
- Supervise the implementation of national medicine policy at the facility
- Perform other activities as directed by the physician in charge and other administrative members
Requirements:
- Proficiency in computer science
- Communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of medicines and medical supplies
