Responsible for testing, installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing dialysis machines, RO systems, and other medical equipment utilized in AHN dialysis facilities to assure patient care quality and efficacy.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot issues with RO systems, dialysis machines, and other medical equipment used by the clinical team.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the area of dialysis, specifically the numerous machinery and components required to design and operate a dialysis system.
- Understand the different Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Nipro, Fresenius, and Baxter/Gambro dialysis equipment, including the changes across manufacturers.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, as well as end users (patients and their attendants).
- Training technical or clinical personnel on equipment use and maintenance.
- Organizing a scheduled maintenance routine for all equipment and responding to emergency breakdowns and repairs to keep it performing at its optimum.
- Ensure that any normal tasks necessary inside the centers are conducted as needed, such as loop disinfection.
- Review clinical reports from assigned facilities to verify that all BME concerns are handled.
- Inspect and repair equipment and machinery at the corporate or hospital location.
- Responding to concerns reported on the ground according to the TAT criteria.
- Think critically to tackle complicated technical challenges.
- Assist with various engineering and technical issues as they arise, including the installation and maintenance of ICT equipment.
- Liaise and maintain connections with device makers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Execute any additional engineer duties allocated to you.
Desired Competencies:
- Degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, mechanical/electrical engineering, or similar fields.
- familiar with health and safety/quality requirements.
- Excellent grasp of Microsoft Office applications.
