Airtel Tanzania PLC is looking for a Prepaid Acquisition Manager. The post reports to the department’s marketing director. They will be in charge of developing and implementing effective and efficient acquisition strategies for the prepaid mobile business in order to improve the company’s leadership position in customer market share.
Key Responsibilities
1. Segmented customer acquisition
- Identify new segments for acquisition and then create and implement a strategy to penetrate them with a leadership position.
- To create and deliver tools to the sales staff for market expansion.
- Conduct consumer and trade research on a regular basis to uncover new chances for acquisition.
- Conceptualize and launch appropriate prepaid/postpaid products and initiatives to increase acquisitions and revenue.
- To create proper consumer and trade systems in order to gain revenue-paying clients.
- Analyze and identify channel partner ROI improvement potential.
- To create and implement a channel incentive program to meet the targeted REC net additions target.
- To help the sales team achieve the necessary REC net additions objective by developing and implementing appropriate sales incentive programs.
- To plan and monitor acquisition costs.
2. Incremental share of market gross adds.
- To identify the major strengths of competition and design essential approaches to gain an incremental share of net additions from competition.
- Plan and implement a handset strategy to acquire market share and counter competition.
3. Customer delight or satisfaction.
- To design and implement consumer programs and promotions that are simpler and crisper in order to boost delight among existing and new customers.
4. Reporting.
- Direct the production of reports on acquisition tactics that indicate trends, ROI, and impact to enable effective business decisions.
- Ensure quality and monitor acquisition-led management information systems and benchmarks.
- Provide simplified analysis to help top management make commercial and strategic decisions.
Academic and Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a similar area.
- Certifications or extra qualifications in advertising, business administration, communications, and management will be an added benefit.
- At least 10 years of work experience, including 5 years or more in a senior management role in the FMCG business and/or telecom marketing.
