Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehousing operations at several locations, including the receipt, storage, and shipment of metals and minerals.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and storage methods for various commodities.
- Implement and administer inventory management systems.
- Maintain compliance with safety requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with the Commercial, Ocean Freight, Road Freight, and Clearing and Forwarding teams.
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff.
- Commercial lead for local integrated service customers (IXM, Citic, Lindi Jumbo, Gerald Metals, Samsung, and others).
- Review and approval of customer bills.
- Management of establishing and documenting standard operating procedures and key performance metrics for handling and maritime freight operations.
- General Management
- Recruitment, training, development, and evaluation of warehouse employees
- Management and training in ocean freight facilitation, including pricing negotiation, vessel booking, and shipping document preparation.
Qualifications:
- Halfway through college Academic credentials in a related field
- A background in warehouse operations spanning at least five years
- Achieving a Lean Six Sigma (Great)
- Manage projects (favorable)
- Executive Leadership (Preferential)
- Quality Assurance (Preferable)
