Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be Africa’s leading provider of accessible specialized health services, both as a healthcare social enterprise and through community development programs for the most vulnerable. CCBRT is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, and it also provides extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) services, such as obstetric fistula repairs. Its Maternity and Newborn Wing is a referral center for high-risk and emergency deliveries in the Dar es Salaam region and Tanzania’s Eastern Zone.
CCBRT is looking for dynamic and experienced cashiers to help strengthen our billing and registration teams.
Position: Cashier, Billing & Registration Clerks
As a member of the billing and registration team, you provide excellent registration/cash/billing services and ensure that the system is closed on a daily basis in accordance with financial guidelines, including the completion of the claim form cycle and daily cash collection reporting.
You provide excellent customer care to all visitors by communicating effectively and politely via phone, email, and general inquiries. All registrations and bookings adhere to established protocols and provide updates on the patient’s health status.
Policies and procedures are followed for all tasks, including daily payments, refunds, claims, invoices, and system postings. Accuracy and speed must be observed.
Work allocation will be done as per the needs of the organization. Shift work will apply.
Qualification required:
- A diploma in accounting or business administration is required, along with at least two years of experience.
- NBAA-Tanzania registration (additional advantage)
- Good basic computer knowledge and skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, etc)
- Adequate knowledge in the ERP system
- Coverage with SAP is an additional advantage.
- Training in customer care
- Excellent communication skills (English, Swahili)
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and capacity to multitask.
- Eye for detail and result-oriented
