Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Events Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will support the Director of Catering & Events in achieving departmental revenue targets by managing daily sales efforts and ensuring the smooth coordination and execution of all events. You will maintain consistent communication with stakeholders, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold Rotana’s high standards in event management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key bookers and clients to enhance satisfaction and drive repeat business.
• Collaborate closely with Outbound Sales and Area Sales Offices to convert leads and retain guest loyalty.
• Achieve a minimum of 70% in IFH Mystery Calls in line with Rotana performance standards.
• Ensure the upkeep of meeting rooms and event facilities, reporting issues to the Director for immediate resolution.
• Distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and attend briefings with Catering, F&B, and Kitchen teams to maintain operational alignment.
• Handle incoming requests in coordination with Sales, providing timely and professional responses in accordance with Rotana standards.
• Maximize event revenue through strategic pricing, yield management, and upselling of services.
• Oversee Banquet Operations before, during, and after events to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Solicit and record guest feedback, encouraging participation in Guest Satisfaction Surveys.
• Serve as a role model in promoting professionalism, courtesy, and Rotana’s values among team members.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of your property and key competitors through regular market checks.
• Report any operational or policy irregularities to the Director to uphold company standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure the wellbeing of guests, employees, and the environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
• Prior experience in event or catering sales within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
