Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and always ensure that the machine is operating safely.
- Operating the dump truck to transport materials to and from the job site.
- Loading and unloading materials onto and from the truck
- Inspect the truck before and after each use to ensure it is in good working order.
- Following safety regulations and industry standards to ensure the truck’s safe operation and prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate with other workers and professionals to coordinate material transportation and placement
- Maintaining accurate records of supplies transported and job completed.
Qualifications:
- Have a Diploma, Certificate or Form Education level.
- Experience operating an articulated dump truck or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Knowledge of operational capabilities of the vehicle and items being carried
- Excellent attention to detail, with an emphasis on safety and quality control.
