We offer a fantastic career opportunity with Jubilee Health Insurance Corporation of Tanzania Limited as a Chief Distribution Officer. The post will be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Main Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in creating the department’s ongoing assessment of its strategic financial objectives, both short- and long-term, along with the financial analysis and evaluation that goes along with it.
- To determine target markets, customer segmentation, and the competitive landscape, do market research and analysis.
- In charge of managing a range of distribution channels, including partnerships and internet platforms in addition to corporate, agency, and bancassurance channels.
- Ensuring efficient PR and improving the company’s reputation among partners and stakeholders.
- Manage a range of distribution channels, including partnerships and internet platforms in addition to corporate, agency, and bancassurance channels.
Key Competencies:

- Thorough familiarity with actuarial principles, risk management, underwriting procedures, and health insurance-specific regulatory compliance.

Academic Qualifications:
- Master’s in finance, Business Administration, Strategy, or any other related course
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Related fields
- Insurance Related Papers.
Relevant Experience:
- Ten years or more of experience in the health insurance industry
- Possess the interpersonal skills necessary to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and have expertise working in regulated industries and/or complex business contexts.
- Showcase “best in class” expertise in the areas of change, technology, process optimization, and operational management in related industries.
- Expertise in the insurance sector with regard to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and planning.
- Expertise creating a collaborative environment, developing high-performing teams, and mentoring and advising finance experts.
