Mzumbe University was established by the Mzumbe University Charter, 2007 under Section 25 of the Universities Act. No. 7 of 2005 which repealed the Mzumbe University Act. No 9 of 2001. As a Training Institute, the University boasts of over 50 years experience of training in the administration of justice, business management, public administration, accountancy, finance, political science and good governance.

Call For Application 2024–2025

For admission to its various degree programs for the 2024–2025 academic year, Mzumbe University is accepting applications from competent Tanzanians and non-Tanzanians. The second round of applications will take place from September 3–21, 2024.

Three campuses—Mzumbe University-Main Campus in Morogoro (MU), Mzumbe University-Dar es Salaam Campus College (MUDCCo), and Mzumbe University-Mbeya Campus College (MUMCCo)—offer bachelor’s degree programs. In order to be considered for admission to any of the programs, applicants must specify in their application the campus they prefer.

Program codes are crucial to consider when choosing a study program since they identify the campus where the program is presented. Candidates may select up to three options; selection is based on the candidate’s preferences for the program and capacity to compete on the basis of academic performance.
