Job Summary: The primary goal is to increase loan and advance, deposit, and alternative product growth at the branch. This includes overseeing all sales operations and assisting, supervising, and training branch sales officers in all branches.
Job Description
A. Business Soliciting – Acquisition/Recruitment
- Customer Acquisition/Recruitment
- Visit current customers regularly.
- Ensure that all consumer acquisition points are always in flawless functioning order.
- To increase the consumer experience.
- Identify regions / sectors important to company development in their location.
- Identification, solicitation, KYC, and risk assessment of prospective consumers, and approaching them to create an account.
- Collaborate with the business development partner to design suitable items for the neighborhood.
- Provide consistent feedback to the Head of Customer Network about the performance of various goods and services at separate branches.
- Collaborate with corporate and institutional banking (CIB) and business banking (BB) departments to better understand retail prospects from their customers.
- Address client inquiries about company concerns.
B. Deposit Mobilization
- Understanding local company characteristics and taking advantage of opportunities to boost deposits.
- Supervise the whole deposit mobilization effort at branches.
- Proactively and continually solicit deposits from all of the Bank’s customers to reach the deposit objectives.
- Proactively following the events listed on the branch activity calendar
C. Cross selling
- Cross-selling of all bank products, including mobile banking, internet banking, agent banking, insurance, all deposit products, loan products, foreign exchange, transfers, and so on.
- Collection of market intelligence information on local competitors, goods, and service levels.
D. Relationship Management
- Drive consumer engagement in branches.
- Going out to connect with Bank’s customers/potential clients in order to gain their trust and develop customer loyalty
- Identifying new clients and scheming to bring them to the list of NBC customers via educational meetings and product talks.
- Developing and sustaining long-term connections with all segmented consumers by listening to them, discussing problems, and finding shared solutions.
- Manage client business relationships, attend corporate customer social events, and oversee all areas of the bank’s dealings with its customers.
- Maintaining the acquired business to keep customers engaged and prevent churn
E. Reports, Monitoring & Turnaround
- Maintain a database of high-net-worth consumers at the branch.
- Monitoring of branch business development using KPIs
- Loan turnaround time and rehabilitation help
- Responsible for the PAR and NPL of branch retail loans.
- Providing inputs and reporting to stressed asset management units and aiding recovery activities at the branch level.
F. Coaching and Mentoring
- Coach and coach the branch sales staff on a regular basis.
- Monitor and report performance based on established KPIs.
Other duties
- Prepare many reports and business ideas for management approval.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
- 3 years of banking experience.
- A broad understanding of banking practice (product knowledge) and bank regulations
