TMHS Polyclinic is a recognized health center that promotes health and wellbeing via a variety of medical services, including consultations, diagnostic exams, physiotherapy, clinical treatment, and pharmaceutical services. The organization is seeking a self-motivated, passionate, and result-driven Business Development Manager to join their team.
Required Qualifications:
- Degrees in marketing, public relations, business administration, and mass communication.
- Three years of demonstrated expertise in event corporate relations, marketing, branding, and sales, with a background in the health care area.
- Understanding healthcare sector developments, laws, and compliance is critical.
- Creative thinking and creativity are required to build distinctive marketing strategies and promotional campaigns that set the health institution apart from rivals.
- Expertise in conventional and digital marketing tactics, such as social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and SEO.
- Ability to create and execute marketing initiatives that promote healthcare services, attract patients, and raise brand recognition.
- Must be Tanzanian.
- Must be proficient in writing and speaking the English language.
- Must have computer abilities.
- Applicants must have a high degree of discipline, conversational and interpersonal skills, analytical, inventive problem-solving abilities, and time management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement company development plans to meet growth targets.
- Identify and assess potential new business possibilities, alliances, and markets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to better understand trends and the competitive environment.
- Develop and maintain connections with prospective and current clients, referral sources, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Secure commercial prospects by negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Address clients’ complaints and provide solutions to improve customer happiness and retention.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to boost the polyclinic’s exposure and attract new customers.
- Coordinate promotional events, health fairs, and community engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, websites, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the operational team to guarantee the successful implementation of new business initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate performance data to determine the efficacy of company growth plans.
- Create frequent reports outlining company development actions and results.
- Create and manage budgets for company development efforts.
- Maintain financial performance and maintain alignment with corporate objectives.
- Conduct cost-benefit evaluations on potential initiatives and collaborations.
- Set specific goals and performance targets for the team.
- Ensure that all business development initiatives comply with applicable healthcare legislation and standards.
- Implement best practices to provide good service quality and patient care.
