At Vodacom Tanzania, this role is responsible for the provision of network and telecom security as well as security assurance for telecom products & services.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Own demand planning and forecasting cyber security for all current and emerging network technologies as well as future business needs.
- Own the network and telecom security framework and ensure continued maturity of network-related cybersecurity baseline controls.
- Set-up of an analytics framework and tools for mobile network monitoring, testing, and response to related cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Coordinate and support the implementation and operational coverage and adequacy of network/telecom-related security controls.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, information technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or relevant domain
• Knowledge of telecom technology architectures.
•Strong Strong understanding of key Cyber Security technologies and tools and general information technologies.
• Knowledge of Cyber and Risk Management Frameworks and International Security standards.
• Experience in Virtualization and Cloud environments
• Experience in scripting, programming languages and Telecom Security Testing & Benchmarking.
• Security certifications (CCNP Security/CCIE, CISM, CISA, CISSP or equivalent)
